Auto-coding sw are all in a rage these days. I've seen so many new algorithms come out after Copilot's first release, and it's interesting to see how they evolve and become more commoditised.

I've worked with both Copilot and (more recently) Codeium, and it's clear the speed up that they provide while writing programs. I moved from reusing templates or having to google structures (which took several minutes - I never remember where I save stuff) to relying on suggestions.

And, regardless of not always providing the correct answers and random hallucinations the value added is undoubtful.

I particularly like features like the "inline" suggestion of Codeium that easily integrates recommendations into already written lines of code. It's an evident push to make this software more and more user-friendly, and I'm looking forward to seeing new capabilities!

What's your experience? Have you tried other software as well?
